The RRC manifold is orignally from the JDM 06-10 FD2 Civic Type-R. The RRC is arguably the best OEM K-series intake manifold on the market for a stock to mildly built K-series engine with basic bolt-ons and tuning. Stock for stock it easily trumps the RBC intake manifold. With a K-PRO or FlashPro and dyno tuning this manifold is capable of gaining approximately 15whp over the stock K20A "PRC" and "PRB" style intake manifolds and approximately 7-9whp over RBC intake manifold.

For 8th gen Civic Si owners, the RRC is direct manifold swap and supports a drive by wire throttle body.

For 02-05 Civic Si, RSX Type-S, and K-series hybrid swappers, the RRC needs the same modifcations as an RBC manifold 

  • The water neck needs to be cut off when used on a Type-S "PRB" or "PPA" style head
  • An IACV provision needs to be applied in order for the IACV to receive a vacuum source. This can be achieved by shaving material away from the lower section of the flange (example) or by using a throttle body adapter plate that already has IACV provisions in place such as the one offered by Karcepts
  • A throttle body adapter plate is required if adapting a Type-S style cable driven throttle body. Some aftermarket throttle bodies will bolt right up to the RRC manifold w/out the aide of an adapter plate (K-Tuned 72mm)
  • Match porting is also required if using a t/b that is larger than 64mm (RRC t/b opening is 64mm)
