The K-Tuned Slave Cylinder is a great upgrade for those wanting to replace leaking,worn out, or just ugly OEM units. The B/D/K-Series slave cylinder is cast aluminum and will not corrode like OEM. It is a great upgrade for an old tired unit that can quickly become corroded or leak. Steel piston is used to ensure the product will last and not leak. The best part of it is the relocated bleeder which will help on turbo cars. The stock bleeder often becomes a problem with downpipes and makes bleeding the clutch system very difficult.Many new K-Series cars (05-06 RSX, 06+ Civic Si) use a slave cylinder that has an internal oil restrictor that further slows the movement of the fluid. Similar to the master cylinders that have a feedback plate that reduces speed of the movement. This can be problematic as reduce speed can cause the clutch to not fully disengage and engage as quickly as you are shifting. This can lead to prematurely worn synchros or gears.Note: You may need to upgrade your clutch line. Please note the inlet fitting is mounted vertically, certain k-series slave cylinders have an inlet horizontally mounted. The K-Tuned K-series clutch line will work perfectly with this kit, it will have a 90 degree fitting at the slave. It also features a stainless line that gives the pedal a solid feel.B/D-series Note: It is HIGHLY recommended to purchase K-Tuned's B/D-series clutch line kit as it will accommodate K-Tuned's B/D clutch slave cylinder (ie. male fitting coming off CSC). An existing OEM clutch line will become incompatible because of said male fitting. An OEM CSC has a female port that the OEM male line threads into normally.
